who we are

We are The Whitetrash Superstars from Northern California

"After toiling away for years in a filthy animal feces infested garage just outside of Ukiah California city limits, The Whitetrash Superstars broke into the rock scene in 2007 with their first debut album in 2009 entitled, Copy This. The band's second album, LOUD, combines Drew's over-the-top vocal work with soaring riffs along with screaming vocals from Davey and wild bass lines from Jake to generate an album highlighting rock for a new generation of fans. With standout tracks like "Consumer Freedom" and ferocious instrumentals like "Atomic" the music of The Whitetrash Superstars appeals to rock fans and non-rock fans alike." Be sure to check out their newest album Haulin' Ass Gettin'Paid!

"The Whitetrash Superstars: sonic evildoers, brain cell assassins, next-door neighbors from Hell in a Jack Black flick that's begging to be made. While rooted in doom rock, the Superstars' music is in a genre all its own - it's part Sabbath sludge, part Priest rage, part Alice in Chains gloom, part Pantera brutality and part Motorhead attitude, all stirred together into a blackout-inducing elixir that tastes best when gulped straight from the box. This is the sound of party rock with a chip on its shoulder. Hoist up that can of Keystone Light and rock your trailer walls with the sounds of trash-metal!"

The Band

Drew Ratzloff

Drew has been playing since he was 15, his talent was obvious from the beginning. After practicing to names like Randy Roads and Uli Jon Roth he started his own band, Black Dahlia with drummer Reverend Brian Slayed and was responsible for carrying others into the music scene as well. Fed up with the way things where going in Ukiah he moved to the Bay Area and tried to get into the thrash scene, where he began working with other musicians like Paul Baloff of Exodus and Jeff Bacerra, singer of Possessed. After playing guitar for bands Iconoclast and Hated, he grew increasingly tired and disappointed with the scene. Eventually he decided to move back home, revisiting his roots and gaining inspiration from bands like Black Sabbath and Deep Purple. He developed his own style and hooked up with his long time friend and life long brother Davey.

Davey Olmstead

Davey has been playing drums for 24 years. He started out tapping on buckets when he was a kid, he didn't have the funds for a drum set. After Drew left for the Bay Area Davey started a family and moved to Portola California. While living there he bought a drum kit and played in a few bands. He's influenced by artists like Pantera, Kyuss, The Doors, Black Sabbath, Anthrax, and Guns N Roses. a short time after Drew moved back to Ukiah, Davey purchased a vintage 70's Ludwig drum kit and together they formed The Whitetrash Superstars.
